Watercraft

New England has a long and proud heritage of wooden boat building. Because of this our many bays and coves are filled with old and new boats of all types. Small boats of classic designs have become a favorite subject of mine. The craftsmanship that goes into building these boats that ply the local waters for generations is beautiful and timeless. Fortunately today there are still a handful of wooden boat builders employing the skills handed down to them and continuing to produce these functioning works of art.
